Emergency Protocol

• Water leaks are the greatest danger in a condo.  Make sure you know where all shut-off valves are located.  After each use, turn off the water supply valves for your washing machines. 

• If you have any water penetration into your suite, contact the Building Supervisor immediately 416-902-9063.

Fire Procedures

• If possible, leave your suite and close the door behind you.  Use 1 of the stairwells to exit the building.  Never use the elevators or go to the roof.

• If it is not possible to leave your suite because of heat or smoke, seal all cracks where the smoke can get in by using wet towels of sheets.  If smoke enters your room, crouch low to the floor.

• Common fire hazards – candles, unsafe cooking, smoking, portable electric heater etc.
